Olivia Molina tells us about her childbirth and gives her opinion on the popular ‘’ Placenta Encapsulation ‘’

In recent months Olivia has let us know through her official instagram Olivia Molina (Molly)💎 (@molina.oliviaa) several photos and stories about how her pregnancy process has been until the day she gave birth.

According to Molina, the pregnancy did not have complications but it had to be by caesarean section given her thin body and thus avoid the possibility of the baby getting stuck and generating stress.

Lately the theme of ‘’ Placenta Encapsulation or Encapsulated Placenta ‘’ has become popular.

Placenta encapsulation is a process where a whole placenta is transformed into pills that can be taken postpartum. It’s one of a few different ways to eat the placenta, but it’s by far the most popular.

According to ‘’ Henry Ford Live Well’’ There’s evidence to suggest that the placenta is teeming with harmful bacteria, such as group B streptococcus. So if your plan is to eat your placenta, you’ll probably ingest that bacteria, too

Placenta Encapsulation is getting so popular that we estimate a conservative street value of the placenta today at around $50,000, and that could double or triple in five to ten years.

A recent blog by Dr. Chris Centeno placed the value of all afterbirth products at over half a million dollars per birth.

So what’s your opinion about placenta encapsulation?

I think it is a placebo and a waste of money and that it is better to donate it to cure diseases in newborns or people that need it

Placenta is extremely rich in nutrients. Tissue donation helps end needless suffering, and saves lives. Donated birth tissue can be used to help treat patients in many ways, including: Treatment of painful, non-healing wounds. Treatment of burns.

I thank Drs. Steve Rad and Allen Dupre who were caring for my pregnancy.

People who don’t donate or encapsulate it throw it away and it’s a waste because they can donate it and help sick kids — Olivia Molina
