David Dreshaj, This young Albanian singer has gained quite a lot of fame in the past 5-6 years.
David Dreshaj, is more than your typical modern Artist from Tuzi – Podgorica Montenegro with his smooth electrifying and emotional, but bold vocals. He is a vocalist, known for his eye-popping visual style and unique dance – emotional – oriented pop, (he also plays piano and guitar).
Although he began singing at the age of 10, where he performed his own songs at various children’s festivals in Montenegro and Albania.
At the age of 16, he made his career a priority and gained popularity, and his career began picking up steam around 2016 when he participated on the televised vocal competition “Kënga Magjike 2016” where he had huge success, he reached the finals, got nominated for “The Best New Artist Award”, he got into “Top 3” in “New Artist Category” – finished second, and won “The Big – (Artist) Status” for all the upcoming years in “Kënga Magjike”, also the professional jury predicted that we all need to hear David’s voice more in the future.
He also participated next year again for the second time in “Kënga Magjike 2017”, and reached the semi-finals.
Several more TV appearances followed, as did a handful of original singles, in 2019 he released “Sierra”, gathering over 200,000 views on YouTube within 24hours.
However, his breakthrough came in 2020, when he scored a viral hit with his “I Believe”, and “Nuk e dua” single.
David Dreshaj has been rising in popularity and has all the potential to gain international recognition. His songs had responded well internationally. Budding singers need more reach and recognition; this will diversify the field of global music.
